How often does climbing onion need to be watered?
Climbing onion requires moderate watering during the spring and summer growing season – typically once a week, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings. In fall, reduce watering as the plant enters dormancy. Through the dormant winter period, water sparingly, about once a month or less, to prevent the bulb from drying out completely.
