How do you plant pepper?
Sow pepper seeds at 25 to 30 ℃, and 60-80% in well-permeable soil. Exposed the seeds to sunlight for 2-3 days to sterilize and promote seed germination. Seed spacing should be 2.5 cm, and the depth should be 1.3 cm. Finally, cover the area with a layer of fine soil.
The seeds of pepper need warm conditions to germinate. When the seedlings sprout and grow 2-4 leaves each, the film should be removed to allow ventilation. The temperature should be kept at 20 to 25 ℃ in the day and 15 to 17 ℃ at night. Remove weeds and apply proper urea.
Transplant healthy seedlings when they have 12-13 leaves and hard stems. It is preferable to transplant them on a cloudy day, and the temperature should remain stable at over 10 ℃ to protect from frost. Try to transplant with the surrounding soil to protect the roots and supply nutrients. Plant at a depth of 10 cm and space plants 20 to 30 cm apart. Surround with fine soil and water the seedlings. Cover the surface with a thin layer of mulch to keep pepper warm.
