Earth star propagate primarily through offsets, also known as 'pups'. These pups grow from the base of the mother plant and can be separated once they have developed their own roots. Allow the separated pup to dry for a day to form a callous over the cut surface, then plant it in well-draining soil. Earth star can also be propagated by seed, but this method is less common due to slower growth and difficulty in obtaining seeds.
