Home > Question
How much sunlight does zebra-plant need?
Zebra-plant requires habitat with bright and soft sunlight. Direct sunlight should be avoided; strong sunlight will burn the leaves, causing spots or discoloration. Potted plants can be placed about 50 to 100 cm from a window. If the plant receives insufficient sunlight, its growth will slow down or even stop. The leaves will become slim, small, and withered.
Zebra-plant has some shade tolerance. However, it enters dormancy in winter, so it needs to be kept in a place with bright sunlight to maintain growth during that season.
