Identifying Common Succulent Diseases
Identifying diseases early is key to effective treatment. Common symptoms include wilting, yellowing, or browning leaves, stunted growth, mushy or dark roots, and spots or patches on the plant. Each symptom signifies different conditions - root rot, fungal infection, nutrient deficiency, or pest infestations respectively. Some diseases, like powdery mildew, manifest as white, powdery substances on leaves, whereas others, like bacterial soft rot, cause plants to become soft and discolored.
