Round-leafed navel-wort (Cotyledon orbiculata) is a plant species native to South Africa. Round-leafed navel-wort is considered a highly variable species in its outward presentation. This species grows in grasslands, fynbos and karoo regions.

Bear's paw is a succulent evergreen shrub endemic to South Africa with thick, fuzzy leaves with noticeable "teeth" at their tips. During the spring, it blooms with huge orange bell-shaped flowers. Finger aloe (*Cotyledon orbiculata var. oblonga*) is a succulent plant species native to South Africa. Finger aloe is also commonly known as gray sticks. This species is often cultivated for ornamental purposes.

The leaves of the lady Fingers are plump and rounded, with their surface covered in a thick layer of white powder. In its full glory, the upper ends of the leaves turn red, looking like rouged lips.

The bear's paw (Cotyledon tomentosa subsp. ladismithiensis) is a variegated succulent variety of another Bear's paw (Cotyledon tomentosa), but differs in that its leaves have white variegations. Like the Bear's paw, it has cute "little paws" that turn red when there is ample light and the right temperatures. It's highly ornamental, but grows slower and is more heat intolerant than the Cotyledon tomentosa.
