The garden dahlia 'Allan Sparkes' produces pink-purple flowers with uniform coloration that grow to 15 cm, making it a smaller variety of dahlia. Introduced in the 1990s, the flower takes its name from a heroic Australian policeman and is a winner of the Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society.
