Dendropanax dentiger is an attractive, frost-resistant broad-leaved evergreen that is sometimes sold in nurseries. It grows as a shrub or small tree, depending on conditions. Its species name, dentiger, means "toothed," referring to its pointed, deeply-notched leaves.
