False sarsaparilla (Hardenbergia violacea) is a species of legume that is native to Australia. It produces flowers which are usually violet but may be pink or white as well. Because of its sweet-smelling blooms, it is widely cultivated by gardeners and has been given the Royal Horticultural Society’s Award of Garden Merit.

Native wisteria is a vigorous, climbing evergreen shrub native to southwestern Australia. This plant is adorned with clusters of vibrant purple pea-shaped flowers during winter and spring. Its glossy, lanceolate leaves gracefully interweave to create a dense cover, making native wisteria an excellent choice for ornamental screens. The species flourishes in well-drained soils and can adapt to a range of light conditions, from full sun to partial shade.
