Winter jasmine is distinguished by its vibrant yellow blossoms and tends to take on a sprawling, fountain-like form that reaches up to 4 feet (1.2 meters) as a shrub and extends to 10-15 feet (3-4.5 meters) in height and 3-6 feet (0.9-1.8 meters) wide when supported as a vine. The slender branches arch gracefully, and the stems are green and quadrangular.
