English
Sometimes called "alpine parsley" due to its appearance, this plant is indeed a member of the parsley family. Alpine oreoxis (Oreoxis alpina) has slightly hairy leaves, and clusters of small yellow flowers appear atop upright stems. Despite its name, this species does not enjoy truly high altitudes, preferring to cluster within ranges of 2300 to 3700 meters.
