Velvet groundsel (Roldana petasitis) is a species that used to belong to the Senecio genus, and it's still sometimes known by its former name, Senecio cristobalensis. This evergreen shrub, native to Mexico, can grow up to 2.5 to 3 m tall, forming large leaves 2.5 m wide.
