Organic vs. Synthetic Fertilizers
Both organic and synthetic fertilizers have their pros and cons when it comes to feeding African marigold. Organic fertilizers, such as compost, manure, or alfalfa meal, release nutrients slowly and improve soil structure, promoting long-term soil health. However, their nutrient content can be less predictable. Synthetic fertilizers, like those with a balanced NPK ratio of 10-10-10, provide immediate nutrient availability and are convenient to use. However, over-reliance on synthetics can lead to soil degradation over time. A balanced approach, combining both types, can often yield the best results.
