How to Propagate Indian mallow?
(Abutilon indicum)
Indian mallow, also known as Monkey bush, Twelve-o'clock flower
Indian mallow thrives when propagated through stem cuttings, a practical and efficient method. Start by selecting healthy, non-flowering stems to increase the likelihood of successful root development. Cuttings should be about 4-6 inches in length, ideally with several leaf nodes, as roots tend to form at these sites. It is beneficial to dip the cut end in rooting hormone to stimulate growth and then plant in a well-draining potting mix. Ensure that the soil remains lightly moist and provide indirect light to support optimal rooting.
