How to Propagate Chempedak?
(Artocarpus integer)
Chempedak, also known as Champedak
To propagate chempedak, start with healthy stem cuttings, selecting a portion with several nodes. Cuttings should be 6-12 inches in length. Use sharp, sterilized shears to make clean cuts, which helps to prevent infection and promote better rooting. Rooting hormone can be applied to the cut end to encourage root development, though it's not essential. Plant the cuttings in a well-draining growing medium, ensuring at least one node is buried where roots will form. Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged, and provide indirect light until the cuttings have rooted.
