From Ground: Begin by watering the parry's Agave well a few hours before you plan to transplant. This will help keep the root ball intact. Then, carefully dig around the base of the plant using a shovel or spade, ensuring to go wide enough to keep the root system undamaged. Once you have loosened the soil, dig under the plant and carefully lift it out of the ground.
From Pot: If the parry's Agave is in a pot, start by watering the plant. Then, gently tap the sides of the pot to loosen the soil and root ball. Carefully tip it on its side and slide the plant out of the pot. Avoid pulling by the leaves or stalks, and make sure to support the root ball.
From Seedling Tray: If the parry's Agave are in a seedling tray, water the tray first. Then, gently push the plant up through the holes in the bottom, or squeeze the bottom of the cells to pop them out.
