From Ground: Water the calanthe orchid plant sufficiently to dampen the soil, allowing the roots to be extracted more effortlessly. Then, use a shovel to dig around the plant, ensuring you account for the breadth of the root ball while conserving it intact. Gradually slide the shovel under the root ball and delicately lift the plant from its original location.
From Pot: Initially water the calanthe orchid plant and allow it to absorb it which will loosen the soil. Subsequently, hold the plant at its base, flip the pot upside down and tap gently. This should help to ease the root ball out from the pot without causing serious harm to the roots
From Seedling Tray: Water the calanthe orchid seedlings in the tray and wait for a bit until the soil is slightly softened. Later, gently press the base of each cell to push the seedling upward without causing any injury to its roots.
