From Ground: First, water the north Indian rosewood thoroughly to ease the soil. Carefully dig a generous circumference around the north Indian rosewood with a shovel or spade to avoid damaging the roots. Pry under the root ball gently and lift the north Indian rosewood out of the ground.
From Pot: Water the north Indian rosewood and let it drain. Turn the pot sideways and gently tap the bottom and sides. Support the north Indian rosewood by the base and carefully slide it out of the pot, making sure to support the root ball.
From Seedling Tray: Water the seedlings first. Use a spoon or small tool to gently lift the individual north Indian rosewood seedlings by their leaves, not the stem to prevent damage. Loosen the soil around the roots and lift out the seedling with root ball intact.
