From Ground: Initially, water the white wood aster plant to moisten the soil. Then, carefully dig a wide circle around the plant using a shovel, keeping intact the plant's root ball. Gradually, lift the spade underneath the root ball to uproot the plant gently from its original location.
From Pot: Begin by watering the pot to make the soil loose. Turn the pot sideways, hold it gently, and tap the bottom to slide the white wood aster plant out. If needed, run a blunt knife around the inside of the pot to loosen the soil and roots.
From Seedling Tray: Water the white wood aster seedlings well before removing. Use a spoon or small tool to lift out the seedlings by digging under the roots, and be careful not to damage the root system while lifting them.
