From Ground: Begin by watering the lentil plant lightly to dampen the soil, making it easier to work with. Then, using a trowel or spade, gently dig a circle around the plant, ensuring to go deep enough to avoid harming the root system. Gently dig under the root ball and lift the plant carefully from its original location.
From Pot: If you're removing the lentil plant from a pot, water the plant first as it makes removal easier. Tip the pot sideways and gently tap it to loosen the plant, then carefully pull from the base, being careful not to damage the roots during the process.
From Seedling Tray: In case the lentil plants are in a seedling tray, first water them lightly. Push up the bottom of each cell to ease the seedlings out while holding onto the leaves avoiding roots to deter unnecessary damages.
