From Ground: First, water the clearweed plant thoroughly to dampen the soil which makes it easier to remove the plant. Next, using a garden fork or spade, dig in a circular pattern around the plant while maintaining a safe distance from the stem to avoid damaging the roots. Carefully lift the plant from the ground ensuring the root ball remains intact.
From Pot: Start by watering the clearweed plant well before the transplanting process. Then, tilt the pot sideways while gently tapping the sides or bottom to loosen the soil and roots. Carefully slide the plant out, ensuring not to pull or damage the stem.
From Seedling Tray: First, water the seedlings. Then, using a dibber or pencil, make a hole under and around the seedling cell. Push up gently using the dibber or pencil to remove the seedling with the roots and the soil attached.
