From Ground: Start by thoroughly
watering the lobster bush plant area. This will loosen the soil around the roots making it easier to dig up. Using a shovel or spade, start to dig around the root area. Do this carefully to ensure you don't damage any roots in the process. Work the spade under the root ball and gently lift the plant from its current location.
From Pot: Water the lobster bush inside the pot. Gently tilt the pot and tap it to loosen the soil and roots. If the plant does not slip out easily, roll the pot gently on its side applying slight pressure to loosen the compacted soil. Pull the plant carefully from the pot.
From Seedling Tray: Use a small spatula or spoon to gently lift the lobster bush seedling from the tray. Be careful as seedlings are generally fragile and their roots can be easily broken.
