From Ground: Gently water the yellow mignonette plant to soften the soil. Carefully dig around the plant with a shovel or spade, making sure to keep as much of the root ball intact as possible. Slowly work the tool beneath the root ball to lift it out of the ground.
From Pot: Water the yellow mignonette plant well before starting. Grasp the yellow mignonette plant at the base and tip the pot sideways, tapping on the bottom to loosen the root ball. If the plant is stuck, use a knife to slide around the inside edge of the pot to help release the roots.
From Seedling Tray: Water the seedlings to ensure the soil is moist. Use a spoon or a small gardening tool to gently lift out individual yellow mignonette seedlings, being careful to disturb the roots as little as possible.
