From Ground: To remove brazilian nightshade from the ground, water it a few hours before to dampen the soil making it easier to slide out. Dig a wide trench around the brazilian nightshade with your shovel or spade, making sure to not damage the root ball. Carefully work your tool under the root ball, and gently lift the brazilian nightshade from its location. Remove the remaining soil from the roots.
From Pot: Water brazilian nightshade before starting the removal process. Place your hand on the top soil, with the stem between your fingers, and invert the pot. Gently tap it until the plant slides out. Try not to tug on the stem.
From Seedling Tray: Water the seedlings and gently take out brazilian nightshade from the tray. Hold the seedling by the leaves, not the stem, and pull out gently.
