Woolly senecio is a diminutive succulent plant with a nearly stemless habit, showing off its robust, banana-shaped leaves that are smooth, fleshy, and notably a bright silvery white. These leaves reach a length of around 5-10 cm (2-4 inches) and rise in clustered tufts, reaching out and upwards. In the summertime, it displays striking yellow daisy-like flowers. It is designed to thrive in conditions of full sunlight to light shaded environments and is accustomed to well-draining soils. This species has the ability to withstand temperatures down to -4 to -5°C (mid 20's° F).
