Chinese milk-vetch

The whole is soft grass. Stem height 10 to 25 cm. It branches off at the root, and in warmer regions, it can stretch horizontally to 60 to 150 cm. The tip of the stem faces up. In some cases, a thin stem is stretched from the root. The leaves are once winged, and the leaflets are almost oval in shape, rounded at the tip or slightly recessed. With one leaf, the size of the leaflet does not change much from the base to the tip. The flower stalk emerges from the leaf bud, stands straight, and sticks out from the leaf. The flowers are gathered together in a ring shape at the tip. The flower color is reddish purple, but there are rare white (cream) stocks.
