carpesium
Carpesium are mainly perennial herbs, but a few species are annuals. The alternately arranged leaves have smooth or toothed edges and are sometimes borne on winged petioles. The flower heads occur at the ends of branches or in the leaf axils, alone or in clusters. There are many yellowish disc florets at the center and usually some tubular or ray-like florets around the edge of the head. The fruit is a hairless, ribbed, beaked achene. They are distributed in Europe and Asia.

Water: Originating from moist environments, carpesium thrives with consistent moisture and evenly damp soil. It benefits from weekly watering to avoid extremes, especially during its active growth season, supporting lush foliage and potential flowering in temperate regions.
Propagation: Propagation methods for carpesium include seed sowing and division, relying on partial to full sunlight, moderate temperatures, and well-drained soil. Avoid waterlogging and ensure proper care to overcome challenges like seed dormancy. Follow essential steps from seed collection to transplanting seedlings or divisions.
