Water:
Originating from dry, rocky areas, centranthus thrives with minimal moisture and prefers well-drained soils. It requires watering once weekly and flourishes in full sun, making it ideal for xeriscaping due to its drought tolerance and ability to withstand prolonged dry periods.
Propagation:
Centranthus can be propagated through seed sowing, cuttings, or division. Optimal conditions include full sun to partial shade, temperate temperatures, and well-draining soil. For division, do it in early spring or fall, separate root clumps, replant promptly, and water thoroughly.
