Chamomiles is annual or perennial herbs, rarely exceeding 50 cm in height and usually bearing solitary white daisylike flowers with yellow centers. They are native to Europe but most species can be found scattered in other continents where they have been introduced.
Water:
Chamomiles thrives in temperate zones, requiring consistent moisture and avoiding both waterlogged and dry soil. Weekly watering maintains balance, particularly in container gardening. Preferring full sun, chamomiles's irrigation needs increase during the active growing season.
Propagation:
Chamomiles propagates by seed sowing, division, or cuttings, requiring well-draining soil and adequate light. Seed germination may need stratification. Maintain 18-22°C (64-72°F) for seeds, transplanting seedlings when ready. Separate mature plants in spring or autumn for division, and use rooting hormone for cuttings.
