Water:
Adapted to infrequent watering, chassalia thrives on a schedule of once every 2-3 weeks. It prefers steady but sparse moisture, avoiding drought and over-saturation. For indoor care, use well-draining soil to mimic its natural dry periods between watering.
Propagation:
Chassalia can be propagated through seeds, stem cuttings, or division. Successful propagation requires bright, indirect light, warmth, and well-draining soil, along with high humidity during rooting. For cuttings, snip a healthy 4-6 inch stem, remove lower leaves, use rooting hormone, and plant in peat and perlite.
