Chionographis
Chionographis species are perennial flowering plants that grow from rhizomes. They produce a basal rosette of evergreen leaves, from the center of which emerges a flowering scape. The scape produces a spike of many small white flowers. The flowers are zygomorphic in shape, and when perfect have six tepals, one pistil, and six stamens. This genus is native to China, Japan, and Korea.

Care Guide for Chionographis

Every week
Water
Water: Chionographis thrives in humid environments, requiring consistent moisture without waterlogging. Weekly watering mimics its natural habitat. As an indoor plant, it prefers higher humidity, which can be supplemented by misting to promote vibrancy during its active growing season.
Propagation: Propagation of chionographis can be achieved through division or seed sowing. Ensure high humidity and stable temperatures with well-draining, fertile soil. Mimic natural conditions, providing shade from intense sun. To divide, separate rhizomes during dormancy. For seeds, sow in cold frames after frost, keeping moist until germination.
