Crassula cordata
Crassula cordata is a succulent that features heart-shaped, fleshy leaves which cluster at the stem's tips, creating a dense, compact appearance. This low-growing perennial prefers rocky soils and arid environments, where its water-storing capabilities allow it to thrive in drought conditions. Its leaves typically exhibit a soft green hue, occasionally edged in red, particularly when exposed to full sunlight.

Water: Crassula cordata thrives in arid conditions with excellent drought tolerance. Watering is needed once every three weeks for optimal health. It flourishes in outdoor containers where moisture levels can be effectively managed.
Fertilize: Crassula cordata thrives with succulents and cacti fertilizer, applied quarterly in spring and summer with a reduced dose to prevent overload. Stop feeding in fall and winter. Apply post-watering for better absorption, and avoid leaf contact to prevent damage. Increase frequency slightly during flowering.
Pruning: To maintain the shape of crassula cordata, pruning may be necessary in spring and autumn, removing redundant and dense branches. For propagation, cut stout stems with 5-6 leaves, apply sulfur powder to the wound, and plant after it heals. Lightly moisten the cutting soil with a watering can.
Propagation: Succulent plants can be propagated by seeds, although germination is challenging. More commonly, leaf cuttings are used in spring and autumn. Cut a healthy leaf, place it on slightly humid soil, and maintain a temperature of 25℃ with bright, scattered light for successful propagation.
