Ceylon swamplily is a tropical perennial with a striking presence, characterized by long, strap-like leaves that emerge from a bulbous base. This plant produces elegant, trumpet-shaped flowers on tall spikes, which exude a sweet fragrance, particularly at night. The blooms, predominantly white, are adapted to attract nocturnal pollinators. Typically found in the warm, humid environments of Sri Lanka, ceylon swamplily thrives in wet, well-drained soil and can often be seen gracing the margins of water bodies.
