Water: Echeveria moranii thrives in arid conditions, demonstrating drought tolerance due to its succulent nature. Water every three weeks, allowing complete soil drying between sessions. Best suited for indoor cultivation, echeveria moranii maintains evergreen foliage even with minimal watering, making it ideal for water-conscious gardeners.
Fertilize: Most succulent plants, such as echeveria moranii, thrive in poor conditions and typically do not require fertilization. A small amount of slow-release fertilizer can be applied in early summer, but avoid fertilizing during dormancy to prevent nutrient damage.
Pruning: To maintain the shape of echeveria moranii, prune redundant or dense branches in spring and fall using tools like knives and scissors. For propagation, cut a stout stem with 5-6 leaves in spring or fall, apply sulfur powder to the wound, and plant after it heals. Keep soil slightly wet.
Propagation: Succulents can be propagated using seeds or more commonly from leaves. In spring or fall, cut a healthy leaf and place it on slightly humid soil. Maintain a temperature of 25℃ (77℉) and bright, scattered light to encourage bud growth at the leaf base within a week or two.
