Water:
Molucca albizia thrives in high humidity and requires moderate drought tolerance. Water every 2-3 weeks to maintain moisture without waterlogging. For indoor care, regular misting is beneficial, making molucca albizia suitable for spaces with elevated humidity.
Fertilize:
For molucca albizia, apply high-nitrogen fertilizers every two months during the growing season to promote growth. Limit use in fall and winter to avoid cold damage. Follow package dosing instructions, use slow-release fertilizers, and distribute evenly around the base for optimal nutrient uptake.
Pruning:
Molucca albizia requires annual pruning, ideally from early to late winter, to promote recovery during its dormant phase. Remove dead or crowded branches to improve air circulation and sunlight. Regular thinning enhances structure, prevents limb failure, and encourages healthier growth, improving overall aesthetics.
Propagation:
Molucca albizia is a fast-growing and adaptable plant. For propagation, sow seeds in well-drained soil and maintain moisture. Pre-sowing treatments like scarification can improve germination. After sowing, ensure a sheltered environment to support seedling growth.
