Water:
Koenigia alpina thrives in moist environments and requires weekly watering, tolerating brief dry periods. Indoor care should include periodic misting to replicate its humid alpine origin, which supports leaf vitality and cooler temperature preferences.
Pruning:
Koenigia alpina features lush foliage and blooms. Prune in early to late spring, removing dead branches and thinning overcrowding for better airflow. Regular pruning enhances flowering and prevents disease, using clean, sharp tools to minimize stress, resulting in a healthier, more attractive plant.
Propagation:
To propagate koenigia alpina, prepare a well-draining substrate and use shallow containers for sowing seeds thinly. Maintain regular moisture and avoid sogginess. Place in indirect light with stable temperatures. Handle seedlings gently to avoid damage during transplantation.
