Water: Broad flat-rock tree prefers balanced moisture and thrives with watering every 2-3 weeks. While not highly drought-tolerant, it can endure occasional dry spells. It flourishes in containers that provide consistent soil moisture, making it essential to maintain steady water intake for optimal health.
Fertilize: For optimal growth, broad flat-rock tree requires balanced nutrition with high-nitrogen fertilizers bimonthly in spring and summer, quarterly in fall, and none in winter. Proper application promotes vigorous foliage and resilience while preventing root burn. Seasonal adjustments ensure broad flat-rock tree's health year-round.
Pruning: Broad flat-rock tree thrives with early to late winter pruning, emphasizing the removal of dead branches and thinning for air circulation. This promotes healthy growth and pest reduction. Avoid over-pruning, as broad flat-rock tree prefers moderate trims to maintain its natural shape and resilience.
Propagation: Broad flat-rock tree thrives with cutting propagation, using a healthy stem segment. Employ a sterile, sharp tool to minimize damage, and apply rooting hormone. Plant in a moist, well-draining medium, maintaining consistent humidity and warmth for successful root development.
