The annual microthlaspi are a widespread genus that produce white blooms during the spring. They are often found on roadsides and in fields. Microthlaspi are experiencing habitat loss in some of their native areas, along with several species that have poor seed distribution, which has compounded their decline in those areas.
Water:
Originating from moderate climates, microthlaspi prefers consistent moisture without waterlogging. Its low drought tolerance requires weekly watering to maintain health. Microthlaspi thrives outdoors, benefiting from seasonal rainfall that aligns with its growth cycles for optimal water intake.
Propagation:
Microthlaspi is propagated primarily through seed sowing. Successful growth requires adequate light, appropriate temperatures, and well-draining soil with the right pH. Seeds may need pre-treatment. To propagate, collect seeds, prepare a tray, sow lightly, maintain moisture, and transplant seedlings when large enough.
