Nervilia
Nervilia is a genus of orchids with about 80 species widely distributed across most of sub-Saharan Africa, southern Asia, Australia, and various islands of the Pacific and Indian Oceans. Orchids in the genus nervilia are terrestrial, perennial, deciduous, sympodial herbs with an oval to almost spherical tuber and sometimes a few short roots. One or two flowers are borne on an erect, fleshy, leafless flowering stem. The leaves are usually wrinkled or crumpled with distinct, fan-like veins.

Water: Nervilia thrives in humid environments, requiring consistent moisture without excessive dampness. For optimal health, water nervilia weekly and place it in areas that mimic tropical understory conditions to balance ambient humidity and soil hydration.
Propagation: Propagation of nervilia mainly involves division and seed sowing. Success relies on warm temperatures, high humidity, and well-draining, organic-rich soil. Division requires careful tuber separation, while seed sowing demands consistent moisture and warmth, with germination being somewhat unpredictable.
