Water:
Pelecyphora is drought-tolerant, thriving on minimal water, ideally watered every three weeks with completely dry soil between. Preferring well-draining soil, it is prone to overwatering. Typically grown outdoors, it needs full sun exposure, making it suitable for xeriscaping and rock gardens.
Propagation:
Pelecyphora propagation mainly occurs through seed sowing and grafting, as cuttings are often ineffective. Success requires bright, indirect light, stable temperatures of 15-20°C (59-68°F), and well-draining soil. Slow germination and growth may take years, necessitating patience and care.
