Kudzu have a lot of uses, with some species used as fodder whilst others produce edible tubers. However, care should be taken as further members of this species have been reported to have toxic elements, such as Pueraria montana var. lobata. Kudzu have species that were historically used to control erosion but are now considered invasive where they have been introduced.
