Silaum
Silaum is a genus of flowering plants in the carrot/parsley family, Apiaceae. There are currently ten species placed into the genus. Silaus species also tend to have a few umbellules (secondary umbels of compound umbels), and these umbellules have several small bracts called bractlets. Plants in silaum are richly branched. The fruits of silaum species have a carpophore, a supporting slender stalk for each half of a gape or burst open (dehisced) fruit. The mericarps (one carpel of umbelliferous fruit) have acute edges and five, rather low ridges. The petals that surround the flowers are yellow.

Water: Silaum prefers consistent moisture and requires watering once weekly. While it tolerates short dry spells, it thrives outdoors, aligning its growth cycle with seasonal rainfall patterns for optimal health.
Propagation: Propagation of silaum involves seed sowing, division, or cuttings, requiring proper light, temperature, and well-drained soil. Challenges may arise with germination and rooting. Key steps include sowing in spring or autumn, covering seeds lightly, maintaining moisture, dividing in spring/summer, and taking cuttings in late spring.
