Water: Tulips 'Kung Fu' have low water needs, requiring only one watering after planting. During flowering, maintain soil moisture, with increased watering for potted arrangements. Avoid water accumulation and use rainwater for garden-planted tulips 'Kung Fu', supplementing only in extremely dry conditions.
Fertilize: Tulips 'Kung Fu' is typically treated as one-time bulbs, discarded after blooming or stored post-summer. Fertilizer is generally unnecessary; however, if soil quality is poor, mixing balanced fertilizer or bone meal during planting can be beneficial.
Pruning: Tulips 'Kung Fu' feature vibrant blooms and robust growth. To enhance bulb strength, prune spent flowers and stems in early to late spring. Remove only fully wilted yellowing leaves; avoid cutting green foliage, essential for photosynthesis. Regular pruning encourages healthier growth and richer flowering.
Propagation: Collect small bulbs formed around tulips 'Kung Fu' for planting in early spring. Space them three times their diameter and cover with 3 cm of soil. Keep the pot in a shady area and moist. After 1 year, multiple bulbs can be planted, and they will flower in 2-3 years.
