Fanfare are a hybrid genus of rosette-formed succulents. They are a hybrid of Graptopetalum and Echeveria. They will often produce star-shaped flowers during the summer. Although they are treasured for long-lived vivid colors such as pink during the cold, they won't tolerate frost.
Water:
Fanfare prefers dry air and infrequent watering, thriving in semi-arid conditions. Watering once every three weeks and using well-draining soil prevents root rot, essential for its health as an evergreen, drought-tolerant plant commonly grown indoors.
Propagation:
Propagation of fanfare involves leaf cuttings or offsets, requiring bright indirect light, warmth, and well-draining soil. Avoid overwatering to prevent rot. Key steps include twisting off a leaf, allowing it to callous, and placing it in soil. Roots develop in 2-4 weeks, then transplant.
