How do I get rid of pepper vine?
Eradicating pepper vine is a very long process that must be consistent and persistent over a period of at least one to two years. There are various methods of removal: Pulling out: Before the weeds fructify, wear gloves or use tools to pull them out. If it is difficult to pull out the entire taproot due to dry earth, adding water to the soil helps to make it easy to remove the roots thoroughly. It is not recommended to mow this weed because broken vines will still allow the weed to spread and grow. Chemical control: Using controlled and appropriate broadleaf herbicides can effectively kill pepper vine. Note: When removing weeds, it is necessary to wear gloves to avoid direct contact with them, especially if not knowing whether they are poisonous, thorny, or allergenic. Masks should also be worn when removing weeds at the flowering stage in order to prevent allergic reactions caused by the inhalation of pollen.
