How do you cook sea kale leaves?
To cook sea kale leaves, first rinse them thoroughly. Then, blanch the leaves in boiling water for a few minutes to soften them. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process. The leaves can now be sautéed with garlic and oil, or added to stews or casseroles. The young leaves can also be eaten raw in salads. Remember to remove tough stems or central ribs if present before cooking.
