Home > Question
How often should centipede tongavine watered?
Centipede tongavine requires a humid environment. Keep potting soil moist in spring, summer, and autumn. Water the centipede tongavine every day in summer. Don't water when the temperature is high at noon, but in the morning or evening. Water once every 4-5 days in spring and autumn.
Ensure the soil is not too dry or wet while keeping the soil moist at all times. Avoid standing water at the bottom of the pot, which makes the plant prone to root rot and withered leaves. In winter, only water when the soil surface is dry. Too much water and wet soil in winter reduces the cold resistance of centipede tongavine. When watering in winter, the water temperature should be close to room temperature. Water that is too cold can harm the root system.
