Fried egg plant is characterized by its distinctive large, ovate, white petals and prominent yellow centers that give it a striking resemblance to a fried egg. This evergreen specimen, belonging to the tea family, typically forms as either a lush, sizeable shrub or a small tree, reaching up to 15-20 feet (4.5-6 meters) in height. The large blossoms, which can measure up to 6 inches (15 cm) in diameter, adorn the plant and, once spent, create a decorative carpet beneath its canopy. Its foliage consists of glossy, dark green leaves that contrast beautifully with the bright flowers.
