From Ground: Initially, water the hedgehog agave to dampen the soil around it, making it easier to dig up. Then, using a garden spade, dig around the hedgehog agave, ensuring to maintain a safe distance from the plant to avoid damaging the roots. Gradually work the spade under the root ball to lift the hedgehog agave from its original location. Place the hedgehog agave into a large bucket for transport.
From Pot: Firstly, water the hedgehog agave to drench the soil. Then, carefully invert the pot while holding the hedgehog agave at its base. Tap the bottom of the pot to help release the hedgehog agave.
From Seedling Tray: Water the seedlings, then gently lever them out using a small trowel or an old teaspoon, making sure you hold them by their leaves not their stems. If they're in peelable cells, you can squeeze the bottom to release them.
