From Ground: To start with, saturate the soil around the azarole to make the extraction easier. Once done, dig a wide circumference around the plant with your spade or shovel, making sure not to cut into the root system. Gradually work your way under the root ball applying gentle upward pressure to free the plant from its original location.
From Pot: Water the pot thoroughly. Invert the pot holding the stem at the base, apply gentle pressure to the sides to loosen and then slowly extract the plant. Be careful not to yank or pull on the stem as it might damage the plant.
From Seedling Tray: Pour water into the tray to wet the soil, then carefully pull out the seedling by lifting from the leaves, not the stem. Try to keep as much soil clinging to the roots.
